Understanding our cancellation and refund terms
Go Vacationn – Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans may change due to personal, environmental, or unavoidable circumstances. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines all rules applicable to cancellations initiated by the traveler or by Go Vacationn.
By booking a trip with us, you acknowledge and accept all conditions mentioned below.
1. Booking Amount
- The booking amount is strictly non-refundable for all domestic and international trips.
- In certain exceptional cases, Go Vacationn may allow the booking amount to be converted into a credit note, subject to approval and company discretion.
2. Cancellation by the Traveler
- All cancellation requests must be sent only through email.
- Requests via WhatsApp, calls, or social media will not be considered valid.
- Refunds are processed based on the type and duration of the trip:
A. Short Duration / Weekend Trips (Trips less than 3 Days)
Cancellations will be processed as per the deduction slab below:

3. Participant Replacement Option
We allow travelers to transfer their booking to another person under the following conditions:
- Replacement is allowed only if the booking is fully paid.
- Request must be made minimum 7 days before departure.
- Replacement is not applicable for transport booked under the participant's name (Volvo, train, flight, etc.) as these tickets are non-transferable.
- Any additional charges due to name change or re-booking will be borne by the participant.
4. Mode of Refund
- Once a cancellation is approved, a credit note will be issued within 2 working days via email.
- Refunds/credits will be issued after deducting payment gateway charges of 2.5% + GST, unless the transaction was made via UPI.
5. No-Show Policy
If a traveler fails to show up on the departure date:
- ❌ No refund, credit note, or rescheduling will be provided.
6. Changes or Cancellation by Go Vacationn
Go Vacationn plans trips months in advance, but certain situations may require changes or cancellations. These include (but are not limited to):
- Extreme weather (rain, snowfall, landslides)
- Natural calamities
- Road closures
- Strikes, protests, or political unrest
- Government orders or travel restrictions
- Safety-related concerns
- Any force majeure event beyond reasonable control
In such situations, the following will apply:
If the trip is canceled before departure:
- An alternate trip may be offered for the same dates, or
- A credit note for the full paid amount will be issued, valid for 12 months from the original departure date.
❗ No cash refunds will be issued under force majeure circumstances.
If the trip starts but cannot be completed:
- No refund will be processed as all partner vendors (hotels, cabs, guides, etc.) are paid in advance.
- Any additional expenses due to delays, diversions, or emergencies will be borne by the participant and not by Go Vacationn.
7. Unused Services
No refunds will be issued for:
- Missed services
- Voluntary withdrawal from the trip
- Late arrival at the starting point
- Early departure due to illness, personal reasons, or any other reason
This applies to both voluntary and involuntary situations.
8. Drop-Out During the Trip
If a participant wishes to exit the trip midway:
- No refund will be provided.
- Any extra arrangements for return travel, stay, or logistics will be charged to the participant.
- Go Vacationn may deny drop-out requests if safe logistics or transport are not available at that moment.
9. Code of Conduct & Policy Violations
Go Vacationn reserves the right to decline any request—including cancellation or refund—if a participant:
- Uses abusive or threatening language
- Attempts to defame or harm the company reputation
- Falsifies communication
- Violates community rules or safety guidelines
- Uses influence or coercion to demand refunds
Respectful communication is expected at all times.
10. Final Decision Authority
All decisions regarding refunds, credit notes, cancellations, and replacements remain at the sole discretion of Go Vacationn and shall comply with the terms mentioned above.
